Five days ago was my seventh month anniversary with Pratt, Brooklyn, and Manhattan. I am currently married to Williamsburg, Brooklyn, living with Bed Stuy, Brooklyn, and having a huge affair with Manhattan. We'll see how things are in seven months. I feel as if things haven't changed at all from the the beginning of the year and completely different at the same time. Next weekend I'm going to start looking for apartments in Brooklyn around school with Becca and Erika. We are going to have the most wild and chill and lovely apartment ever. We are going to have a full bar (Becca is a trained bartender, she took classes). I am applying to Anthropologie, American Apparel, Dick Blick Art Supplies, Whole Foods, and Dylan's Candy Bar. I am also trying to get an internship with a graphic design firm. Right now I have one with a letterpress company called Purgatory Pie Press. It's cute, but very small. I set type, organize it, put it away, and help rack printed material. Since August I have been to more shows then I can count, so I'm going to list them.

hi kids, sorry for the uber long hiatus. I didn't really mean to go m.i.a. but here I am now!

we got first place at OM regionals so we get to go to states, which is this coming saturday which is also...
my 18th birfday that I'm very pumped for
tommy and I are having a joint bday party, which we still have to plan
I've been doing a lot of dancing, especially to really bad rap

I've been to nyc twice

so I'm done with pratt all I have left is uarts, sva, and risd (but the only one that involves any effort is risd). here's my portfolio thus far, I still have to do a separate self portrait, room, and bicycle for risd. there's actually only 5 new pieces, everything else is the same as my mica portfolio. I really wish I hadn't taken ap euro this year so I could have taken more art classes. I would have really like to take sculpture and jewelery again. I'm just getting so sick of drawing, and now I have drawing twice a day. It's just so frustrating because throughout high school I've sacrificed art for academics and I didn't take out of school classes so I would have time to do my homework but it turns out it doesn't matter. I don't think BU or pratt or risd are going to look at my grades over my drawing ability and it really sucks. whatev, I'll probably just wind up going to mica, which would be ok I think.

right now this would be the perfect life:
boost my gpa up a few points
start taking art classes at keystone
lose weight
do spectacularly on the SATs
go to the mica pre-college camp
travel europe
make the varsity field hockey team
get into NYU early decision
have an amazing senior year
have an even better summer
live in nyc and attend nyu and study art education
get internships
graduate
that is from February 4th, 2007 and I only did two of those things (mica & europe). I'm not even applying to NYU anymore because they don't have graphic design. I did finish applying to Boston University today though. Oh and Yale too. I don't now why the fuck I did that. My mother looked absolutely heartbroken when I told her I wasn't going to, so then I did. I know I'm not going to get in. Actually it would almost be worse if I did get in because everyone would say it was because of my mother (she went there). On the other hand I don't handle rejection very well. I guess it's a lose-lose situation. Eh, whatever I can't do anything about it now. Here's something to look at so this isn't completely useless. I was going to talk about other things with more articulate language and better grammar, but as you can tell that didn't happen. good night.

I went to national portfolio day this weekend down at the maryland institute college of art. the people really liked my stuff so I guess I can go to college. by the way I went to europe this summer, this is paris. I should probably post those pictures eventually.
